Steroids..... still a problem in professional sports?

Anabolic steroids have been one of the biggest problems in professional sports for the past ten years. They have been used to enhance performance and to bulk up. They are most commonly used in football and baseball players.
The use of steroids is illegal in all of professional sports. Unfortunately, players still take them and it is effecting the sport. Commissioners have not come up with an answer yet, but the punishment is usually suspension and then if used repeatedly, expulsion from the sport. Many famous sport figures have been accused of using steriods. Athletes such as Barry Bonds, Mark McGuire, Jose Castillo and so on.
According to ESPN, the use of steroids should be handled harshly because it is unfair to the non-users. It allows performances to be enhanced and strength to be abnormal. Its almost like an advantage said ESPN announcer Scott Van Pelt. The number of users throughout the last couple of years in sports has decreased dramatically and should soon be extinct.
